Community Leaders

Project Summary

Community Leaders are the gateway to the communities in which we work, we have realised that these men and women have not received training or support regarding their roles. Through engaging with the Induna’s we have identified training deficits, particularly related to governing their communities, issues concerning children and women’s issues such as community safety, drugs and alcohol abuse, and crime.

Induna’s need assistance to understand their role, authority and responsibilities as community leaders. Their role is overwhelming, without support, they are unable to support their communities effectively as a result their communities are deteriorating.

Impact: Every child and adult, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to unlock their full potential, achieve economic self-sustainability, enjoy their rights and become patriotic citizens.

KTD196 has been training Induna’s in their roles, authority and responsibilities while placing children and women on the leaders/communities agenda for protection and support who in turn will be agents to enable the realisation of their peoples rights. We are assisting the Induna’s to prioritize and strategize, and draw on community resources to realise their goals for their communities.
.

To collaborate with community leaders, ensuring that the transformative power of good governance reaches every corner of our country, and together build a future where children and adults flourish as self-sustaining, empowered individuals, paving the way for a more prosperous and equitable world for all.
