Get Involved
There are a number of ways you can get involved with KTD 196 and help us impact on the lives of the amazing kids we work with:
Volunteering
This experience is for GAP students and those who are considering a career in development, or who have a heart to serve others and learn about new cultures. We can organize short stays of one month to extended periods, depending on your needs. You will get an opportunity to visit some of the 120 villages in which we work, and assist with the childrens/youth program depending on your interests. Included would be a short stay in a local village, living as the locals do, where you will experience the warm and wonderful Sotho and Shangaan culture. The proceeds of this program go to supporting the activities of Keep The Dream196, as well as those of the communities you visit and work with. Do something Crazy
Do something crazy and the proceeds go to Keep The Dream196
Hi Louise
As you know my favourite South African Organisation is Keep The Dream196.
Having attended children’s camps and jamborees with the organisation I believe that
the work being done is vital for the future of South African society. Guidance and training given in
moral compass, social responsibility, self-respect, respect for others and work ethic is of the highest value possible.
It is for this reason that I decided that for the celebration of my 70th birthday in 2018 I would entertain
my friends and family to a meal and encourage them not to WASTE their hard earned cash on presents
for someone who has everything he needs but rather to INVEST it in the most worthy cause I know of………….
KEEP THE DREAM196.
I know that every penny raised will be put to the best use.
With Admiration for the work achieved

For the extreme adventurer – Mark McNamara cycled from Kampala in Uganda to Cape Town in South Africa. A number of schools were involved because their pupils learned as he cycled throughout the continent. It was an education especially to the Australian Schools involved as well as fundraised on our behalf. Just to get the creative juices flowing.
For the not so extreme adventurer – other opportunities include holding morning teas or the old lamington drive to fundraise on our behalf. I could connect with you and actually virtually attend your gathering and share about KTD196.
For the Crazy Supporter – one of our long timer supporters did a presentation at his 70th Birthday on KTD196 and in lieu of gifts asked for donations for KTD196.
The sky is the limit people, get involved, and make an amazing difference in the life of a child!
